Nutrition Overview
September 6th, 2010 // 6:55 pm @ Chris
Often overlooked by many in their quest to become fitter and healthier is a well balanced, suitable diet. Its widely believed that getting in shape is 80% Nutrition and 20% exercise, they say: “The hard works done in the gym, but the real work is done in the Kitchen.”
So why is it so often overlooked?
Well to be honest, its because there isn’t that much information out there to the public that is correct. Instead magazine and TV shows publicise celebrity endorsed FAD diets, which ultimately don’t work in the long term and can be unhealthy in the short term. Also, wherever we look we see adverts for fast food chains and restaurants which are purposely designed to hit our senses that get us making the wrong food choices.
